New COVID-19 Research Lab at Rush University Medical Center

There is a new COVID-19 research lab at Rush, designed to monitor the spread of the virus and its variants in Chicago. The lab is supported by a $3.5 million grant from the Chicago Department of Public Health, and the tremendous support of philanthropic gifts to COVID-19 research helped make this possible.
