Rush University Medical Center is following guidance from local health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding large gatherings, including CDC recommendations on preventing the spread of COVID-19.

This event will raise funds to support Rush University Medical Center’s education, research and community service programs, including our 2020 principal project: The Woman’s Board Transformation Fund for the Rush University Cancer Center.

Cancer cells don’t shelter in place during a viral pandemic, and life-saving oncology treatments can’t be postponed until a more convenient time. The Transformation Fund will provide Rush University Cancer Center with the resources to create an extraordinary “new normal” for cancer care across Rush University System for Health. Supporting bold initiatives that aim to reshape the way patients access cancer care, decrease delays to treatment, reduce risk in the post-COVID-19 era, and improve patients’ long-term outcomes, this fund will be invaluable toward delivering on Rush’s goal to become the preeminent destination for cancer care in the Chicago area.
