Gratitude Project

The Woman’s Board of Rush University Medical Center is eternally grateful for all Medical Center employees for the compassion and commitment they have shown throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Here are just a few of the ways our Woman’s Board members are thanking health care heroes at Rush.

December

Each year at Rush, a special tree shines with the spirit of the holiday season: The Woman’s Board Tribute Tree. Made in honor or memory of an individual, Tribute Tree gifts help The Woman’s Board provide funds for Rush’s skilled team of physicians, nurses, scientists, researchers, and staff to deliver the most advanced treatments and innovative technologies to patients.

This year’s tree, which was located in the fourth floor Atrium lobby, included a tree topper dedicated to the health care heroes at Rush.

January

Throughout the month of January, all Rush University Medical Center employees were entered into our Forever Grateful Gift Card Drawing to win a $25 gift card to The Woman’s Board Gift Shops.

Forty-eight winners were chosen. Congratulations! We sincerely thank you for your valiant dedication to the community this past year.

February

Woman’s Board members and their families made 125 fleece blankets to deliver to Rush University Medical Center frontline workers in February! Each blanket was wrapped and included a note of thanks written by a member. The Respiratory Therapy and Occupational Safety departments will be receiving the blankets.

We thank JoAnn Fabrics for generously donating all of the supplies for this project!

Thank you to the Woman’s Board members who supported these gratitude projects! We are thrilled to be able to show our continued appreciation for the Rush team through these efforts.
